Prominence and easy accessibility stand out as the primary advantages of this corner establishment on Kleanthous Street. These factors guided our architectural solution, resulting in a fully open façade. Additionally, we strategically aligned the linear development of the open kitchen parallel to the street, ensuring that all food preparation activities are immediately visible—even to passersby.
On the ground floor, the kitchen occupies the majority of the space, limiting the expansion of dining areas. To compensate, we reserved the mezzanine exclusively for seated patrons. In the basement, we allocated space for restrooms, storage, and other auxiliary functions.
The restaurant’s aesthetic intentions oscillate between emphasizing its established identity—having successfully operated in the city for several years—and introducing fresh design elements. The former includes fundamental color choices, artistic interventions on the walls, and various graphic elements. The latter involves geometric patterns on ceramic tiles, a balanced use of cool colors, and the incorporation of greenery.
The double-height space accentuates its grandeur through various architectural features. Perforated metal panels define the kitchen, pendant lights illuminate the counter, and a black-and-white false ceiling adds visual interest. Notably, a large-scale mural dominates the rear of the establishment, ensuring immediate recognition from the street.
