Haven
The enclosed shape of the courtyard, defined by buildings and perimeter stone walls, led this garden to turn inward. Its elongated form created a sequence of ‘outdoor rooms,’ each with its own distinct character and purpose.
The small entrance courtyard welcomes visitors, inviting them to pause and take in their surroundings before proceeding further inside. The living area and dining space form the heart of the garden, serving as the central hub for family and friends to gather. Finally, the open green expanse, bordered by a variety of ground-covering plants with free-form shapes, provides children with ample space for unrestricted play.
