Our redesign and reimagining of the high school courtyard in Thessaloniki was driven by several key factors. First and foremost, we prioritized accessibility for all users across different ground levels. Ensuring security and addressing the practical needs of both students and teachers in their daily lives also guided our approach.
As we embarked on this project, we carefully crafted new open spaces to accommodate sports activities, informal gatherings, and school breaks. Beyond these functional considerations, we integrated additional elements into our proposal. Bioclimatic enhancements played a crucial role, as did a fresh aesthetic concept centered around vibrant colors and organic shapes.
