Process
We share a common architectural vision for spaces designed for their users, integrated into their surrounding landscape and unique.
Interactive dialogue
We are an architectural studio that believes at its core that every space is as unique as the people who reside in it. Every project is unique and has different clients, users, budgets, contexts, and constraints. We explore the way that people respond and interact with each space, in order to create holistic, inclusive and functional spaces. We also work closely with our clients to translate their specific dreams and ambitions.
This interactive dialogue is a continuous procedure that starts with the client’s first inquiry and grows throughout the design process.
Part of this debate is also our network of associates. Complemented by consultants from various specialties, we provide comprehensive proposals and high-standard services that meet the specific requirements of each project in an ever-evolving market.

Site analysis
All our concepts are born out of careful consideration of the context and landscape in which they are situated. Our work strives to enhance our sense of surroundings, identity and relationship to others and the physical spaces we inhabit. Sustainability comes from respecting the environmental -physical and human- local conditions and history.
We observe each space on its ecological, social and perceptual aspects, carefully documenting all the associated parameters. Orientation, sun exposure, shading, prevailing winds are as important as human and vehicle flows, dominant uses or view openings and frames.
Site analysis is the crucial first step in design, where we deeply study a location’s physical (topography, climate) & contextual (legal, social) factors to find opportunities and constraints, directly informing the conceptual design phase, which then translates these insights into initial big-picture ideas, sketches, and layouts that guide the project’s form, function, and overall vision before detailed development, ensuring the final building or landscape integrates harmoniously and effectively with its environment.

On-field evaluation
An in‑depth study of a location’s physical and cultural factors to reveal both opportunities and constraints.

Traditional methods and new technology
We are inspired by the historical significance of the landscape and the building, traditional architectural standards, and contemporary spaces with meaning in every corner of the world.
Recognizing that buildings and their construction significantly contribute to negative climate effects, we approach each project with a focus on building responsibly. We seek sustainability methods and principals throughout our rich building traditions.
We also invest on the research and adaptation of new materials, such as water-permaeble pavements, breathing plasters, natural surfaces and more.
Technical advice and market research start from the conceptual design and carry on throughout the design and building process, with mockups (full-size models), specimens, virtual and physical moodboards.

Samples
An initial selection of samples of déployé metal mesh to create a sunshade for an office building facade. Once the initial elements are selected, they are incorporated into one or two mockups. A mockup is a full-size model that shows how the final product will look in a realistic context.

Material research
Exploring fabrics and textures to define the tactile identity of a housing project.
